What do we have in common with Nick Nolte??
I don't know if this is good or bad but we already have an actress on our hands. She has turned into quite the ham! She has learned how to fake cry and laughs when she is imitated. One time at Walmart (no I haven't boycotted the store), she held up the checkout line for 10 minutes entertaining the customers. Katherine did not flinch for a second, but I called off the show feeling guilty that the staff would get in trouble for not keeping the line moving. Her expressions are priceless and people kept saying she should be in commercials. My vain proud heart was drinking in all the praise!
I am celebrating Katherine has been fully weaned this week - HOORAY!! A milestone has been passed! I stuck in this shot to show how tall she is getting, cruising around everywhere. She is watching Geoff prepare for his annual paintball weekend in Payson with the guys. He loves it and even went last year when I was 9 mos pregnant and I was certain that I would go into labor while he was gone... and of course I didn't...
We watched the Saturday session of general conference with Grandmother. Katherine made her belly ache laughing so hard. I couldn't tell who was having more fun.

(Mostly, this is for grandparents...)We've a few good days with Nana this week. I love that she is only an hour away! We went to lunch a couple of times and went shopping. The Norterra shoppes has the nicest PF Chang's I've ever seen! We found ourselves under-dressed... for lunch! Later that week, Geoff took me on a surprise date to a gelatto store. It was dreamy!
For anyone interested, I was asked to sing with a small group at a cancer benefit on Oct 25th. We're singing some songs from O Brother, Where Art Thou and The Sound of Music. Email for details if you are interested in attending. They're asking for a $10 donation at the door.
So, Geoff and I get Netflix and we are reaching the bottom of the barrel... Does anyone have good recommendations for movies?? Let us know - I can't watch Earnest Goes to Camp again!!
