At 5 years old, Katherine is in the height of a passionate love for My Little Pony. It made it very easy to plan her party!
My sisters sent wonderful presents - the ability to bedazzle a jewelry box and a clutch purse. Each had over 500 pieces and she had them both completed within 12 hours (including sleep time!) They arrived the day before her party and it gave her something fabulous to focus on so she didn't go stir crazy waiting for her party to start...
Pin the Cutie Mark on the Pony was a big hit!
We played "Honey, I Love You but I Just Can't Smile." A couple of the boys got so embarrassed we let the game end quickly and moved right on to the races! We had them run with a balloon between their legs and then without. the videos are DARLING, but of course, we're having trouble uploading them to this website so you can't see them, but THEY ARE SO CUTE!!
This is just how many we could convince to get on the seesaw. We had so much fun with so many kids!
Katherine and I made rainbow cupcakes in honor of Rainbow Dash. The first attempt using white cake mix, 6 flavors of jello and ice cream cones for a holder did NOT go as planned so we settled for strawberry cake and laid the rainbow sour belts on top to make the rainbow. They turned out pretty cute!
And, of course, it's not a party without face painting! The kids went wild on each other and on me.
Genevieve stayed with Nana the ENTIRE party and was happy! They played on the swings and on the slide and she laughed and had a great time.

We came back home and opened presents from Grandma! We miss you!!
And my sweet sister also remembered Genevieve's first birthday coming up and sent her a wooden puzzle... Mischievous G throws the pieces so hard that there's already a crack in one of them. Go G!
