2013

This is Geoff for these two new installments.  Our blog has been suffering technical difficulties; we can't get any videos to post.  Disabling plug-ins, pop-ups, trying other browsers...nothing works.  With no video, this blog is severely handicapped.  It's left Amanda frustrated enough that I'll have to sub for a bit.

Last week I took Katherine to see some Disney Princesses on Ice.  Rapunzel headlined with Cinderella and Tiana.  Everything was going fine until right before the show she saw some cotton candy for sale, along with a princess crown she JUST HAD TO HAVE.  After the show, we almost made it outside before she saw a headband of Rapunzel's hair she JUST HAD TO HAVE.  After all that and parking, the tickets turned out to be the cheapest part of the event.  She was quite pleased with the show.

We've been having a cold spell here lately (in the 40s).  Fortunately, Genevieve came prepared with an abundance of natural padding to keep warm.  Today it finally got up around 70 so we spent some time outside.

Christmas in Review

Katherine got everything she asked Santa for this Christmas: Disney Princess dresses and My Little Pony galore.

We traveled to Michigan this year for Christmas.  It was especially nice to go since I haven't made it there for Christmas for about 9-10 years.  It even snowed just in time.

This is a big baby.  A gigantic baby.  A one hundred-and-ten-percentile baby.  Katherine called her the Baby Giant almost right out of the womb.  The name has endured.

Lets just say this girl was not satisfied in the level of service provided over the course of the flights.

My Uncle Eric and Aunt Diane were nice enough to have everyone over for Christmas Eve.  I may have had more than my fair share of stuffed mushrooms and shrimp.  I got a good video of Katherine reacting to hearing Santa's sleigh bells coming from outside the house.  One of the many videos that refuse to load.

Katherine with Grandma Bergeron.

After a few days, Genevieve allowed someone other than Amanda to hold her without screaming.  In this case, Uncle Vic.

In Rochester, MI one night.  It was cold.  Look how huge that baby is on Amanda's hip.

Looking forward to our next visit...
