Katherine and I want to send our love to you!
I apologize for taking so long to post pictures.

Our girl is getting goofier by the day. Like every toddler, she LOVES to be chased and has started to do that in stores... She's 25 pounds now and she's too heavy to carry for long. We now try to contain her in those carts that are shaped like cars, but even that doesn't keep her occupied. She insists on saying hi to everyone in the store, no matter how far away they are from her. She has absolutely no stranger danger... unless there is the slightest chance that she might be being left at the babysitter's, then she is attached to my hip and buries her face in my shoulder.... Kind of reminds me of our dog, Lady, growing up: A total stranger could walk in the house and she'd be all friendly, but if he rang the doorbell, she'd try to attack him...

We spent Memorial Day weekend with my parents in Prescott. They are doing well. My mom's ankle is pretty well healed and she's gotten her strength back. Dad's enjoying work. They get to teach a marriage class in Spokane and work with the single adults, so you know they are happy. They spent as much time with they could with Katherine. We discovered that Katherine treats Papa EXACTLY the same way as Geoff - perfectly happy to play with them until Mommy or Nana walk into the room, then she is plastered to our sides. Fortunately, Nana loved it. It was so nice to take a break, stop messing with relief society, get lost in a book, chat under the stars by the fire pit, and visit with them. It was a much needed vacation, although too short. We are looking forward to going out to Detroit at the end of June.

They hosted a Memorial Day picnic and Uncle Andrew's family and Grandmother came. It was so good to get caught up with them. Kristine is getting so old. Marcinelle is as lovely as ever.

Check this woman out! Isn't she a beauty??

So... I don't know what happened, but Katherine has become a TERRIBLE eater. Almost as bad as Bennett ;>). I try to give her relatively healthy food, but she would live on cheese, crackers, fruit snacks and milk if she had her choice. Tonight I actually got her to eat from fettuccine alfredo, but most of it ended up on the floor.

Her latest obsession are "Suns." We caught her in the closet breaking into a box and pulling off the straw of each one... I won't tell you about the tantrum that followed when we pulled her out.

Princess Leia?

So, I've told you about her obsession with Barbie's
Princess and the Pauper. (Even my parents started to memorize some of the songs by the end of our weekend staying with them.) My new theory is that she is teaching herself how to talk by memorizing it. You can hear that a lot of time she says the words before the characters sing it. My favorite is when she tries to dance. It's so fun.
The last bit of news is that we will close on our house on June 8th! I think we'll go to the signing in the morning and then Geoff is going straight to the house to begin ripping up the floor. We are still shopping for carpet and choosing paint colors. Packing so far has not been too bad, a little every day. I think our real move in date will be June 18th. Just in time for us to go on vacation on the 22nd.
Hope you all are doing well. We are thinking of you and hope you are happy. Give us a call any time. We'd love to hear from you!
