Keeping up with the house gremlin!

When Katherine wants something, she says "One? One?" and points, and if I don't get it, she'll try to pick me up off the couch and lead me by the finger or push me at the knees until I figure out what she wants. This time, Katherine broke into my vanity drawer and asked to put every hair tie and clip I own. "Kleep! Kleep!"
Current Katherinisms:

• "Nine! Nine!" to remind me to warm up her milk in the microwave. I used to count down the seconds for her and only 9 kept in her head.
• "I Caffweine" for Katherine
• "Suck! Suck!" (stuck) when she couldn't get around the recliner because Geoff was leaning back.
• "I free" when I got her out of the car seat.
• Proudly announced "poop" when the nursery leader delivered her to me in Relief Society.
• "Follow Me" and "Itsy" are her favorite nursery songs. She asks for them over and over.
• She says "sorry" any time she hurts herself and "careful" when she gets up onto something she knows she shouldn't i.e. the coffee table, too close to the edge of the bed.
• I've been repeating the 1st Article of Faith with her every night. I'll say "Article" and she'll say "of faith" and then refuses to repeat anything I say until "Holy" because that's her favorite word.
• Yesterday, we drove out to Tempe to go to dinner with some friends and she repeated "Out!" "Home!" "Barbie!"

She's already trying to dress herself. This is a cowgirl skirt Nana bought for Katherine before she was born. She loves it even though it's still WAY too big for her.
We have started to pack up the house. We have faith that any day now our financing will be finalized and we will get a closing date on our new house. Katherine is proving to be a good helper. She tries to hold the box while you tape and then Geoff gives her the label to slap on.

What??? You never saw a tired, busy woman before?
I just want to know why we only take pictures at the end of the day or on days we're at home and I haven't showered yet??

Happy Mother's Day!

This is Geoff's new baby. I don't really understand the obsession, but it looks cool.

How can she manage throwing a fit and being so funny at the same time?

Katherine is OBSESSED with Barbie's Princess and the Pauper. She asks for her "Mooglie" every ten minutes during the waking day. I let her watch it once after 3pm since it's too hot go outside, but now it's gettting too hot by 9am. Thank goodness the neighborhood were moving into has a pool!!

We're happy to be celebrating Mother's Day and hope it's a good time where you are, too. As the new Relief Society president in our ward, I get to talk today about uniting our new ward through charity. It's been good to study it this week. I hope to get better at it. I feel like I got my mother's day present early this year. Last night as I was cuddling with Katherine before bed, she kissed me spontaneously for the first time as she nuzzled up to me. Talk about melting your heart and sending you to cloud 9!
I love you guys and send lots of love to all the mothers and mothers-to-be out there.

We will need to redo the flooring.

The tile is hideous. I can live with the counter tops, but we'll have to paint so it's not so blah... Any suggestions for how to replace ALL the floor cheaply???

She is talking so much. Before she goes to bed, I've working with her to repeat the 1st Article of Faith. She thinks saying "Holy Ghost" is the funniest thing she's ever heard and today I heard her babbling in her crib "Bye-yo, Holy Gho!" She busts me up!
