The last 24 hours ~ MISERABLE. She has an infection in both ears... and it seems to be coming out her nose!

She woke up yesterday with a mild fever, so we ended up taking her on the 4+hr drive to Tucson & back to deliver the Benz to Jake instead of leaving her with a babysitter. The ride went really well until the last hour... Dang that infant-stength Tylenol!

She slept on my shoulder because it seemed to slow the coughing. By 4am, she was burning up. After a blessing and a bath, she and I felt calm again and we waited till morning to go to the doctor. Of course,
it was after I fed her
cherry jello that she decided to throw up
3x, spraying 3 sets of clothes, the carpet, and a fair number of toys. Things now seem to be under control with antibiotics & benadryl, but we will be house-bound for several days. Thank goodness, Geoff is on his weekend so we can all get caught up on our sleep.
Moving on to more fun, last Friday we went to the zoo with the Fallers. Katherine had the most fun feeding the birds, but she seemed to like the wallabys and the otters, too.
She wanted to walk around as much as she could... this was taken a
second before she biffed it on the pavement!

So much to do, so little time!

You have to hand it to women with THREE children! Lindsay got Katherine to hold on to the standing/sit-and-ride stroller. Katherine thought it was so cool.

Katherine had refused to take her nap before the zoo and she passed out in my arms as soon as we got to the car...

We met our husbands back at the Fallers for dinner when they got off work. We had a great time. Lindsay and I can talk for hours, so it's nice that our husbands indulge us. Steve and Geoff may have been friends
first, but Lindsay and I will better
influences on each other!

I swear she thinks she's older than she is...
She has officially joined us at the big kids table for dinner. It occurred to me that I didn't need to battle to eat my dinner with her sitting on my lap or having her sit far away in her high chair. She is so much happier and I am so more relaxed at dinner.
This is one of the bazillion ways I know I'm still a new mom.Of course, no blog is complete without a little
CHUB-A-DUB!!! Please know that we love you and pray for your happiness. Be safe & good!
